QuikTrip — one of the largest US convenience chains, notorious for uncompromisingly clean stores — has rolled out Pudu cleaning robots across more than 1,200 stations. Per US press coverage, the robots make their rounds every four hours, between customers, and get dispatched to spills. The reasoning is your math: the machine takes the floor, the staff take the customers.
QuikTrip runs the larger Pudu CC1 — US stores measure 400 to 530 m². The German station shop is smaller, and that is exactly what Pudu built the ET1 for: same series, same principle, shop-sized. What is daily routine across 1,200 US stations, nobody here has to sell as an experiment.

Very likely — it is built for it. A 38 cm body, 50 cm minimum aisle width, 60 cm clearance under fixtures, designed for 100 to 800 m². During the free site visit we check your floor plan before you sign anything.
Yes — and that is a feature, not a compromise. At QuikTrip the robots run every four hours between customers, and the experience is unambiguous: customers read the robot as a sign of active hygiene, kids love it, and some regulars end up greeting it like a colleague. Thorough full-area cleaning is scheduled into quiet hours; during the day it handles targeted spot runs — the spilled coffee is gone before anyone can complain.
In the base package: empty the dust box and top up detergent — water exchange, dosing, and self-cleaning are handled by the 8-in-1 dock, and via Daedalus we often see faults before you notice them. If you want to touch nothing at all, add the full-service package: our technicians then also handle maintenance, wear parts, and resupply.
Via the Daedalus platform we see every machine's condition in real time — faults usually reach our team before they show in your shop. In the full-service package we additionally provide a replacement unit on failure: your shop stays clean, the machine risk sits with us.
