Pudu CC1 vs. CC1 Pro: The Real Differences

Per Pudu's official spec sheets and operation guides, the CC1 and CC1 Pro share the same platform: same dimensions (629 × 552 × 695 mm), same 75 kg weight, same 15-litre fresh and waste water tanks, same 50 Ah LiFePO₄ battery with roughly 3-hour charging, the same per-mode runtimes (5 hours scrubbing, up to 9 hours silent mopping), the same 500 mm cleaning width and the same 700–1,000 m²/h full-coverage rate.

That last point matters, because some dealer pages advertise the Pro as "1,500–3,000 m²/h versus 700–1,000" — comparing the Pro's spot-cleaning patrol mode against the base machine's full-coverage mode. That is not a hardware advantage; it is a mode comparison. In full-coverage cleaning, both machines are officially rated identically.

The Pro's premium is an AI perception layer, and its centerpiece is officially a first: a rear-facing AI camera that inspects the floor the robot has just cleaned, detects leftover stains, and triggers targeted re-cleaning. The results feed cleaning-performance heatmaps and an operations dashboard — turning "the route was driven" into "the floor is verifiably clean".

Second: an AI spot-cleaning mode. Instead of scrubbing every square metre, the Pro patrols at 1,500–3,000 m²/h, visually detects dirt and spills, and cleans exactly there — which is how Pudu states a range of 5,000–8,000 m² per run for this mode. This is the feature that makes daytime operation in occupied venues genuinely useful: the spilled coffee is handled in minutes, without a full cleaning cycle.

Third: component self-monitoring. The Pro visually checks its own brushes and squeegees for dirt buildup that would cause streaks, marks affected areas on the map, and notifies the operator. Add automatic wet-stain and floor-type detection (hard floor gets the full wet program, carpet is vacuumed dry), a 6-litre dust-bag option, and optional elevator and access-gate integration for multi-floor buildings.

Noise: Pudu's official materials state below 70 dB(A) for the CC1; for the Pro, Pudu's own sources diverge — the launch documentation says below 70 dB, the current official German product page says below 75 dB. We treat the Pro as "not quieter than the CC1" and recommend against buying it for noise reasons.

Suction: the frequently quoted 17,000 Pa figure appears in Pudu's official channels for the CC1 series as a maximum value; official CC1 Pro spec sheets state no pascal figure at all and claim only "enhanced fan suction". If a dealer quotes you a Pro suction number, ask for the official source.

And a positioning note: the docking station with automatic water exchange and the 30/30-litre mobile water tank exist for both machines — neither is a Pro exclusive, despite occasionally being marketed that way.

The CC1 is the right machine when your requirement is straightforward: clean floors, mostly at night or off-hours, in retail, offices, hotels, or clinics between roughly 500 and 3,000 m². It does that reliably, and the Pro would do it no better. The Pro earns its premium in two situations. First, when you must prove cleaning quality — retail chains with audits, hospitals with hygiene documentation, facility-management contracts with SLAs: the rear-camera verification and heatmap reports turn cleaning into evidence. Second, when daytime matters — the spot-patrol mode handles spills and entrance dirt during opening hours while staff keep working. If neither applies, buy the CC1 and spend the difference elsewhere.
