BG1 Series

Pudu Robotics

The large sweeper-scrubber that does both in one pass: dry debris in the front, wet scrubbing in the rear, squeegee-dry floor behind it.

The Pudu BG1 Series is our industrial flagship for combined cleaning: a front sweeping module collects dry debris into a 5-litre bin while the rear module wet-scrubs and the squeegee recovers the water — one pass instead of a sweep-then-scrub two-machine workflow. With 2,000 m²/h in covered mode (up to 6,000 m²/h in targeted spot cleaning), a 75-litre fresh water tank, dual 7-litre detergent tanks with millilitre-precise dosing, and up to 7.5 hours of runtime, it is built for large formats.

The AI system detects whether a mess is wet or dry and reacts: sweep modules retract on wet spills, brush pressure increases automatically on stubborn stains. An extendable edge brush scrubs flush along walls and shelving.

Two variants are available: the BG1, and the BG1 Pro with 3D LiDAR and a higher top speed for complex, dynamic environments. With the optional workstation, water exchange, charging, and self-cleaning run fully autonomously.

Highlights

Sweep + Scrub in One Pass

Front sweeping module and rear scrub deck replace the two-machine workflow.

Extendable Edge Brush

The disc brush extends mechanically to scrub flush along walls and shelving.

Wet/Dry AI Detection

Detects spills in real time, retracts sweep modules, and boosts brush pressure on stubborn stains.

Precision Dosing

Dual 7 L agent tanks dose two detergents with millilitre precision.

Workstation Option

Fully autonomous water exchange, charging, and self-cleaning cycles for unattended operation.

Ride-On Mode

Manual ride-on control for mapping and long repositioning moves.

One Machine for the Whole Industrial Floor

The BG1 Series combines dry sweeping and wet scrubbing for large formats — warehouses, production, big-box retail, transport hubs.

  • Warehouses and logistics centres
  • Production halls
  • Large supermarkets and DIY stores
  • Airport terminals and transport hubs
  • Retail complexes

Why the BG1 Series?

The BG1 Series is the answer when a site needs both sweeping and scrubbing — which describes most warehouses, production halls, and large-format retail.

Where you would otherwise run a dry sweeper first and a scrubber second (or send a person ahead with a broom), the BG1 does the whole job in one pass: debris into the bin, floor scrubbed, water recovered. That halves machine passes and scheduling complexity. The 75-litre tank and 7.5-hour runtime are sized for real industrial nights, and the extendable edge brush addresses the classic weakness of large scrubbers — the dirty strip along walls and racking.

Choose the BG1 Pro when the environment is complex and busy: its 3D LiDAR and higher top speed pay off in dynamic layouts. And with our full-service model, tanks, consumables, and maintenance are our problem, not yours.

What do the numbers mean?

What the numbers mean: 2,000 m²/h in covered mode is the planning figure — a 12,000 m² hall is a comfortable night shift with the 7.5-hour runtime. The 6,000 m²/h figure applies to spot cleaning only: targeted runs to detected dirt, not full coverage — we quote it honestly with that label. The 75-litre fresh and 60-litre waste tanks keep tank stops rare; with the optional workstation, water exchange and charging happen without staff.

The 85 cm minimum clearance fits industrial aisles but rules out narrow office corridors — this is deliberately a large-format machine at 344 kg. Charging takes about 3 hours on a proper supply. One number we do not quote: noise — Pudu has not published a value, and we will not invent one.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the BG1 Series

Officially, exactly two things: the Pro navigates with a 3D LiDAR (instead of standard LiDAR) plus 3D VSLAM, and its top speed is 1.2 m/s instead of 1.0 m/s. Tanks, runtime, cleaning widths, and throughput ratings are identical — and we will not pretend otherwise. Our guidance: the Pro for complex, busy, changing environments; the standard BG1 for structured warehouse and retail floors.

The front module sweeps dry debris — packaging scraps, leaves, coarse dirt — into the 5-litre bin. Directly behind it, the scrub deck applies dosed water and detergent, brushes the floor, and the squeegee recovers the dirty water into the 60-litre tank. The AI watches what is ahead: if it detects a wet spill, it retracts the sweep modules so nothing smears; on stubborn stains it automatically boosts brush pressure. The result is a floor that is swept, scrubbed, and squeegee-dry in a single machine pass.

The optional all-in-one workstation runs fully autonomous cycles of water exchange, charging, and machine self-cleaning — that is what enables genuinely unattended operation. Without it, the robot still cleans autonomously, but staff handle refilling the 75-litre fresh tank, draining the 60-litre waste tank, and emptying the debris bin. For daily industrial use we recommend the station; for lighter schedules the manual routine takes a few minutes per run. We plan the setup, including water and power at the station location, during installation.

Technically yes — it is built for dynamic environments and detects people and vehicles. But Pudu publishes no noise figure for the BG1 Series, and we do not invent one: plan for night and off-hours runs as the default, and daytime operation only in industrial zones where machine noise is unremarkable. Once we have measured your unit on site, we can plan daytime windows with real data.
